Monica Delehanty a 16 year old Harrington Park resident recently was awarded the title of Miss Senior "Dancers Inc." 2011. Monica a long time student of Anita Ehrler's Dance Extensions in Park Ridge, NJ. entered the four day Competition/Convention on July 24, 2011 in Waterbury, CT. She was evaluated on her skills in a variety of dance classes and styles, performing, learning choreography, question and answer segments as well as rehearsing a performance for the opening number at the final showcase performance. All this was done in front of a panel of judges. The final evaluation came on the 4th day of this intensive process when she performed her award winning solo dance entitled "Use", Choreographed by award winning choreographer Dan Mueller. Monica has been dancing under the direction of studio directors Anita Ehrler and Frank Mastrocola for the past 13 years, and has been a part of the AEDE Dance competition companies for many years. As a Title Holder she will now represent the Dancers Inc. Company as well as Anita Ehrler's Dance Extensions throughout the United States until she gives up the Title next July 2012.
